CLINTON

Joseph V. Kovac, 54, of 24 Water St., died Tuesday, August 7, 2012, in his home, after being stricken ill.

He is survived by two brothers: James L. Kovac and his wife, Jennifer, of Clinton, and Peter J. Kovac and his wife, Kim, of Lancaster; a sister, Joyce A. Lang, of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Joe was born and raised in Clinton, son of the late Joseph J. and Virginia R. (Bedard) Kovac, and was a life-long resident. He attended local schools.

For many years, he worked as a Quality Control Operator at Nypro, Inc., Clinton.

A member of St. John the Evangelist Church, the Clinton Lodge of Elks, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Joe enjoyed bowling, and was a proud recipient of the Leprechaun Society’s Shillelagh Award, an honor bestowed upon him in March of this year.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, August 10, 2012, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.
